By texting START to the HELM phone number or using any HELM service, you agree to the following terms.

Program Name

HELM is a text-based spiritual formation service for men. It is operated by HELM (or its parent company, as applicable), located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

What You're Signing Up For

When you text START, you begin a text message conversation with HELM. During onboarding, HELM will ask you a series of questions about your life, faith, and goals. After onboarding, you will receive one text conversation per week (typically on Tuesdays) and one monthly summary report. You may also receive occasional service-related messages.

Message Frequency

You can expect approximately 4-8 text messages per week during your weekly check-in conversation, and 1-3 messages for your monthly report. Message frequency may vary based on the length of your responses.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. HELM does not charge for receiving or sending texts through the service, but your carrier may.

How to Opt Out

You can stop receiving messages at any time by texting STOP to your HELM number. You will receive a one-time confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To restart the service, text START again.

What HELM Is Not

HELM is not therapy, counseling, or a substitute for professional mental health care. It is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or go to your nearest emergency room. HELM is a personal growth and spiritual formation tool, not a medical or psychological service.

AI-Powered Conversations

HELM uses artificial intelligence to generate its messages. While the AI is designed to be helpful, thoughtful, and grounded in scripture, it is not a human being and its responses should not be treated as professional advice of any kind (medical, legal, financial, or psychological).

Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding. You agree that you are 18 years of age or older. You understand that the value you get from HELM depends on the honesty of your responses.

Intellectual Property

All content generated by HELM, including text messages, reports, and website content, is the property of HELM and its operators. You may screenshot or save your own conversations for personal use.

Limitation of Liability

HELM is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on your HELM conversations, any emotional distress related to the content of messages, any technical failures that prevent message delivery, or any actions taken based on scripture or action steps provided.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by text before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma.
