James 3:4

The weekly text that won't let you drift.

Every Tuesday, HELM asks you the questions nobody else will. About who you're becoming. Where you're honest. And where you're not. One scripture. One step. Three minutes.

How it works

Three minutes every Tuesday that change how you live the other six days.

01

You answer a few honest questions.

When you first text in, HELM learns what matters to you, what you're building, what scares you, and where you tend to check out. Takes five minutes. Nobody else sees your answers.

02

Every Tuesday, it checks in.

Two or three questions about your week. Not surface-level stuff. The kind of questions a good mentor would ask if he knew your whole story. You text back honestly. That's the only rule.

03

You get one scripture and one thing to do.

Based on what you shared, HELM gives you a verse that actually speaks to your situation and one concrete action to take before next Tuesday. No reading plan. No homework. Just one step forward.

04

Each month, you get a letter.

A short report on your month. Where you grew. Where you drifted. What to focus on next. Written like it's from someone who's been paying attention, because it has been.

This is not a devotional app.

You already have access to plenty of content. Bible apps. Podcasts. Reading plans. HELM is different. It doesn't give you more to consume. It asks you whether you're living what you already know.

No app to download. No login to remember. Just a text conversation with something that knows your story and won't let you off the hook.

"Look at ships: though they are so large and driven by fierce winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs."

What it looks like

A real Tuesday morning.

Helm
Tuesday check-in. Your goal is to lead your family with presence and courage. Looking at the last seven days, how close were you to that guy? 1 to 5.
You
Probably a 3. Work was crazy and I checked out most nights.
Helm
A 3 is honest. Did the fear show up this week? The one about not feeling like you're enough?
You
Yeah. Bad day Wednesday. Brought it home.
Helm
There's the pattern. Bad day at work, fear starts talking, and your family gets whatever's left. Colossians 3:23. "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord." Your value was settled before you opened your laptop. One thing this week: next time you walk through the door after a hard day, stop and ask yourself, "Am I bringing home who I am, or how my day went?" Then choose.

Take the helm.

Five minutes to set up. Three minutes every Tuesday after that.
